To create this bright, colorful card, I used the Die'sire Essentials Dies - Circles to draw different size circles onto Crafter's Companion Watercolour Cardstock (NEW!) and water colored them with Spectrum Aqua Markers.

I really dig how some of the color peeks through the words.

Sneak Peak of Die'sire Edge'Ables Dies

It's all about die cuts today!  One thing I love about using dies is that you can create a lovely card with lots of dimension in a short amount of time.  This card was super easy and fun to make.

First, I embossed the background using Sheena Douglass Embossing Folder 5" x 7" - Curly Swirly over Shimmering Cardstock rose pearl run through my eBosser. For the butterfly, I made a custom color blend with Spectrum Aqua Markers Sunflower, Blossom, Orange. I scribbled color onto a palette, spritzed with water and pulled a piece of Crafter's Companion Watercolour Cardstock through the color a few times.

Next, I die cut the remaining pieces from Shimmering Cardstock black pearl, white pearl. I dipped a few of the flowers into the color blend.

gently bent the butterfly's wings up and dabbed a small amount of Collall All Purpose Glue on his body.

Thank You So Much

I used a pencil and emboss folder to create that cool texture on this cute little thank you card.

I laid a piece of Shimmering Cardstock pearl white over the 8" X 8" Textures Embossing Folder - Dry Stone Wall and rubbed a Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencil 093 over it - laying the pencil on its side and applying enough pressure to pick up the texture.

LOVE YOU

Today Sara is on HSN sharing some more fabulous products from Crafter's Companion!   In my project for today, I'm sharing a design featuring Die'sire Create-A-Card Everyday Dies.

I sprayed a piece of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock with Fireworks Sprays pear tart, rosebud, grape jelly. I allowed it to dry completely before using it.

Next, I used Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock, my eBosser, and the Die'sire Create-A-Card A2 Card Size Die - Adore to make two A2 size cards, making sure I cut the second card on the opposite sideTIP: put a piece of wax paper in between the die and the cardstock. This makes it easy to get the tiny pieces out of the die.

I trimmed the sprayed piece 1/4" off the top and one side and then adhered the pieces to make a double fronted gate card.

The words are from Sentimentals EZMount Stamp Set - Friends and Family. To ink just the "you" part of the sentiment, I laid the rubber flat, applied tape around it, inked it up with an India Ink Black Pad, then removed the tape and laid the paper on top. I popped the small heart up with Double Sided Adhesive Foam Circles.
