Introducing FrouFrou

Sharing a sneak peak of a new upcoming line at Crafter's Companion. Introducing FrouFrou.  It's a collection of women living and celebrating life.  My design is from the Martini Girl set.   She is helping to celebrate layers of perfection defined by how many birthdays we've had.

I stamped the images onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I added a little bling her necklace and flowers with glitter pens.

After adhering all the layers, I used small double sided adhesive dot to pop up the martini glasses. I also used a clear dimensional medium on the martini glasses to give them a sheen like real glasses.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment that comes with the set.

Art Impressions Challenge-"Pin It!" Use hat pins, safety pins or clothes pins

This week's Art Impressions Blog challenge is "Pin It!" Use hat pins, safety pins or clothes pins.

I'm using fabric in my design to show off this fashionable Dress Set (Sku#3132).  I used StazOn ink to stamp the images onto fabric.  Since the top was a smaller image that I would glue down flat, I used gel medium to glue it down to a piece of white cardstock and then cut it out. I edged it with a black marker.  Since the skirt was going to be pinned, it needed to be more flexible.

On the inside I stamped the shoes and purse, with matching fabric, images from the set to make the outfit complete.

Please pop over to the Art Impressions challenge for this week to see a bunch of inspirational "Pin It!" Use hat pins, safety pins or clothes pins ideas!  You can enter for a chance to win a coupon!!

Stand Clear

This week I'm working on a card to give to my friend who is stressing.

I think it will make her smile.  This poor little Fainted Chicken (Sku#D1878) has just had it.

I colored her with Copics and used a stamp positioner to get the sentiment,  Bad Day (Sku#G4185), in the right place.  These cute little Chicks (Sku#F1840) will go on the inside.

I used my computer to print an encouraging sentiment.

Photoscape Silloutte

My design today features Sheena's silhouette images.  The possibilities are endless with her lovely images.  Are there times when you need a quick, yet stunning card? Photoscape is the way to go!  Use a photograph for your background. With such a simple concept, you can make beautiful scenes in minutes.

I started with a photograph of just clouds.  I stamped my design on copy paper before finalizing it on the photograph.

NOTE: If you miss any spots, use a permanent black marker to fill in. At first I thought I would use an image on the front, but after I stamped the deer, it looked like he was studying the clouds as they roll in and I did not want to cover up any of the sky.

I ran the stamp pad along the bottom to deepen the grounding. I flicked it up slightly to create the illusion of grass.

After looking through all her sentiments in the sets, I thought this one was perfect for the scene.
