Brand New Embossalicious Folders!!!!

Have you seen the new Embossalicious folders?!  Just lovely!  My design features the 6" X 6" Embossalicious Embossing Folder - Ornate Bufferflies.
This card had no coloring and no stamping - oh my! :o)

I ran the folder through my eBosser onto a piece of A Little Bit Oriental - Papercrafting Collection - Luxury Designer Paper Pad and also Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock

I rubbed a Delicata Rich and Radiant GoldenGlitz ink pad (coming soon to Crafter's Companion!) gently over the piece of white to catch the embossed design.

A tip on saving paper/cardstock...next I cut out one of the butterflies with a circle die cut near the center of the embossed piece for my focal point. I trimmed the design paper and leftover piece of embossed white layers for an A2 size greeting card.  I edged the white pieces of my design with the gold ink pad.

After all the ink dried, I adhered all the layers of the card. Sheena's design paper is two sided. I decided on the flip side after positioning it next to the gold. I love choices!  You can see the embossing on the design paper in this photo.

On the inside I added a small version of the butterfly that was left over on the scrap embossed piece. I cut it out with a small circle die and layered over the design paper.

Sheena Groupie

Being the Sheena Groupie that I am, I just had to have the complete Sheena A Little Bit Oriental EZMount Stamp Set Bundle . :o)  And, then I had to have the design paper to go with it and then the emboss folders, oh my - before I knew it, I had the whole kit and kaboodle in my cart.   By the way, I had to Google "kit and kaboodle." I had always heard the term, but never spelled it. :o)

My design is from the Sheena A Little Bit Oriental EZMount Stamp Set - Sakura.  I am crazy about that tree!

I stamped the images onto High Gloss Cardstock and colored with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I used glossy knowing that I was not going to blend colors like I do on smooth, but scribble and then dot in color to show darks and lights.

I filled in the ground with a black SN marker.

When I piece different design papers together, I find it easiest to cut them the same size first, trim them, over lap them, and then cut to the final size I need for the A2 size card.

On the inside, I added a piece of matching designer paper and stamped a flower image from the set.

New Bebunni Release!

Today, I'm sharing a sneak peak for an upcoming new release called Bebunni.

I planed to paper piece my card, so I stamped the images onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and also design paper.

Next I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers I'm so excited that I received my new redesigned markers!!   I can tell that Crafter's Companion listened to feedback from their customers  - I like the feel of the design in my hand and the fine bullet tip.  They have a double-locking cap for extended time between refills. I tapped in color going back in forth between lighter shades and darker shades, and also the Blender to give some texture to his fur.

bunny: Blender, BG1, BG2, BG3, BG4, BG5, PP1
champagne:  CG1, CG3, CG4, GB6, GB9, CR8, DR3, DR5
envelop:  Blender, TB1
small image gift bag: BT6, CT4, DG3

I like to use Collall's Tacky-Glue when I paper piece to give me time to get it placed just right.  The sentiment comes with the set.

I cut out the small image and placed it on the inside.

Sneek Peak! Stamp-It Australia Christmas

Stamp It has done it again!  Crafter's Companion will be introducing four brand new fabulous Stamp It Christmas sets. My design today features images from Falling Snowflake.

I stamped the lovely birds image onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I used a combination of direct coloring to the cardstock and also tip to tip blending. As you lay the color on the cardstock, a natural blending occurs.  I used TB1, TB3, GB3, and GB8.

I ran the Embossalicious Embossing Folder - Seasonal Music through my ebosser. To match the background to my lovely blue colored birds, I used a blending tool and a distress ink pad to add color on both the design paper and the embossed piece.

Crafter's Companion Challenge - Baby

This month's Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog theme is Baby.  I'm featuring an image from Popcorn the Bear - A Gift for You.

I stamped the image onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and onto Pearlescent multi-colored Paper Pack. I knew I wanted to paper piece the present with this cool pearlescent pink sheet.

I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers. Starting with the bear, I used colors GB1, GB6 and GB9I used a combination of direct coloring to the cardstock and also pallet coloring - scribble color onto an acrylic block and pick up with a lighter color. As you lay the color on the cardstock, a natural blending occurs. After I colored him, I allowed him to dry.  I spritzed a piece of fabric with alcohol, laid it over the the colored area and pressed it gently.

Next, I added a little color to the baby's present, using BP1 and BP4. I used  CR1 for the shading.

Added color to the cute little duck with CT1, CT4, GB6, and OR1 and cut out the present. For any areas I trimmed a little too much, I widened the line with a black marker and colored a little pink - so it would not be so obvious. :o)  I used  Collall's Tacky-Glue to adhere the heart wrapping paper.

After coloring in a ground with IG1, I cut out the image and popped it up with Double Sided Adhesive Foam Circles

I hand wrote the little welcome on the  gift tag.
