Patriotic Pride Release

Happy 4th of July USA Friends!!
I'm featuring a fun technique and an image from the new
Patriotic Pride stamp set

I started with the background. I masked with a few sheets of copy paper. I found this was the best mask for this technique.  Next I dripped a few drops of Spectrum Noir Ink Refills TB6 and Blender onto felt and light dabbed around stars area of the flag, leaving white space.

I re-positioned the copy paper mask and dabbed in CR11 and Blender in the stripes area. I did this on High Gloss Cardstock and Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock - two different results.  I dig both - kinda artsy!

I stamped the image from the set onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored it with my Spectrum Noir Markers TB6, DR2 and Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils 028, 071. I colored with the pencils first (highlights) and then darkened with the markers.
