Yep! On a greeting card. :o) This week some of the DT members will be sharing projects with their favorite images. When the scenic Art-Kure images came out, I had so many ideas!! Too many to finish in one season. So, I made one of the ideas floating around in my head into a greeting card. I stepped out of my coloring box for this card. hehehe...
I first stamped the Hunsett Mill, Norfolk image onto black card stock with white craft ink, sprinkled white embossing powder and heat set.
Next, I looked for design paper to compliment it. I know, I know, you're probably supposed to do that first, but I don't always think that way. :o) Fortunately, I have a wide variety of design papers. I found some nice black and white card stock I had in my stash from Club Scrap. I even found some with writing which captured what I think of this image - lovely and romantic...a nice getaway in England.
I colored the windmill on the image with a black water based marker and stamped on the inside of the card to carry the theme forward.
To finish it off, I used Star Dust Stickles in the tress and to make a little fluffy snow.
