Art Impressions Challenge - Stitching or Fabric

For this weeks AI challenge - Stitching or Fabric, I wanted to make sure that the Mad Rider looks fashionable as she rides down the street with her cute kitty cat, who is holding on for dear life.

I used StazOn black ink to stamp the image onto fabric. A Stamp-A-Ma-Jig was helpful in ensuring I stamped on the part of the fabric I wanted.

Next, I cut around the images and glued them onto a piece of cardstock - this will give the fabric stability with I cut the images out.

I stamped the image onto a piece of Cryogen and colored the base image with my Spectrum Noir Markers.    I cut out the complete image and each fabric piece. I edged all the pieces with a LePlumeII black marker.

To create her background scene, I used the Fence, Giant Oak Tree and Clouds , and then colored with markers. I stamped the Mad Ryder onto the background scene for placement also to pick up the fine lines that I did not cut out.

I adhered all the pieces together.  I used glitter pen on her earring, a glaze pen on her glasses and a white pen to add a few highlights on her bike.   On the inside I stamped kittens-- they are so darn cute!.
