Stylish Stationary Case Holds my New Pencils

I admit I am an Organization Enthusiast! To hold my Spectrum Noir blendable colored pencils, I picked up this cool zebra print stationary case from Hobby Lobby and used my 40% off coupon - the only way to shop. Of course, I had to add a splash of color!

I stamped the image from A Little Bit Sketchy EZMount Stamp Set - Poppies and Daisies with a jet black StazOn ink pad. Since the surface has an edge that sticks out, I did not use an acrylic block.

Next, I filled in the image with gesso. I painted it on very thick. After it dried, I painted again.

After it dried completely, I painted over the it with acrylic paints (dash of red, modern red, classic teal, landscape green).  I used the photo that came with the set as a guide. I added an outline and some detail with an India ink artist pen.

I put in some cardboard dividers to help separate the color families.

A very easy way to add a pop of color to the case that holds all my fabulous new Spectrum Noir blendable colored pencils and accessories! It looks great in my creative space sitting on top of my Spectrum Noir Markers.

Of course I saved the beautiful tins the pencils came in. They have gorgeous colored designs on them and are perfect for protecting my pencils when I transport them.
