The Ultimate Craft Tool - Large Birthday Card

This special Birthday card was made using the The Ultimate Craft Tool and the Snowman Delight & Candlelight Embossing Board.

Sometimes you need a large card so there's enough room for everyone to sign. To make this special candle card, I followed Sara's directions iThe Ultimate Christmas Project DVD The emboss board and DVD come in The Christmas Embossing Board Bundle.  There are so many things you can do with the The Ultimate Tool! In addition the card, I made the custom envelop to hold it.

I embossed the Candle with the small emboss tool onto Shimmering Cardstock white pearl. I added shading to the wax drippings with Spectrum Noir Markers Blender, IC1. For the flame, I sprayed Fireworks Sprays  tangelo, dandelion onto both sides of a piece of Shimmering Cardstock gold dust, embossed three flames and cut them out.

I embossed the background onto Shimmering Cardstock black pearl and adhered it to a 5/1/2 x 8 1/2 inch base card.  I popped up the flame layers with Double Sided Adhesive Foam Circles.

I added ribbon across the bottom by putting a small slit into the fold, wrapping it around and tapping it down with Red Liner Tape. I made the perfect bow with The Ultimate Tool and tapped it over the seam.

The complementary envelop is made by following the directions in the booklet that comes in the The Ultimate Tool.

The address label was made with Die'sire Decorative Dies - Nouveau Stamping Frame and Shimmering Cardstock white pearl.
