If you have a lot of relatives and friends to send cards too, you'll want a design that you can duplicate easily. I used this sweet Charity Angel (Sku#T4177) as my focal point. First, I inked her up with metallic ink, stamped her on white cardstock, sprinkled emboss powder and heat set. I cut my card stock in half so it would fit through my Cuttlebug when I cut the shapes. I stamped three angel on each half sheet. Some of them will be circles and some will be rectangle. I'll use the same basic design, and mix it up a little.
I used a gold leafing pen to add edging around the circle. I thought that was faster than cutting several gold layers. :o) I stamped the sentiment Glory to God (Sku#G4174) on the inside with the gold ink pad.

Trena
Very pretty clean and simple card for Christmas Trena. Love the idea of adding the gold leaf around the edge, instead of die cutting another layer in gold. I thought it was another layer. :) (Great idea). I have been making my own Christmas cards for relatives for the last 5 years. I make around 45 cards and try to keep them clean and simple. I love this one!
