A View From a Window

Have you ever looked outside a window and saw something that just makes you sigh with a sense of peace?  That's what this little scene makes me do. I colored it with bright greens so it has to be in the middle of summer. :)

I stamped this lovely Art-Kure EZMount™ Stamp - Scots Pine detailed image onto Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils Colors used: 052, 065, 066, 100.

Next, I used a Distress Ink Pad to add color to my window frame that I got from UmWowStudio.  I just rubbed walnut stain directly across the frame in different directions to cover with color.

I glued the frame down to the scene with a liquid adhesive and cut around it with a craft knife. For the background layer, I found a design that I thought looked like wallpaper for the inside of the "house."

I drew the outlet and light switch on a piece of scrap paper. I added a little color and shading with Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencil 100, and adhered them to the wall.
