I created several backgrounds with
Spectrum Noir Refills. In this post, I'm sharing two designs featuring the 'blues.' On the first design, I used TB3, TB6, and TB9. For both designs, I used the same method for the backgrounds - I spritzed alcohol onto semi-glossy card stock, dropped color in, and blew the color around with a straw. When it started to get dry, I spritzed a little more alcohol.
I chose gold stickers for my focal images. On the first background, I placed the dragon fly onto white cards stock, colored him with Spectrum Noir markers and framed him with a gold metallic marker.
For a deeper blue background the ink refills colors I used were TB7, TB8 and TB9. I love the deep blue colors - I didn't want to cover any of it up so I just used the stickers right on the background! :o)
