Art Impressions Challenge - "Feeling Frosted?" - Use Vellum

This week's Art Impressions Blog challenge is  "Feeling Frosted?" - Use Vellum.  There's a couple things that pop up for me with respect to "frosted" -  jewelry and food - I picked food for the challenge.  A girl has to have her priorities! :o)

I chose Jacque (Sku#Q2836) as my focal image.   I colored the image with my Copic Markers and cut him out.  I used a water based pen to edge around the image after I cut it out. I also stamped a partial image onto a velum swirl design card stock (Paper Pizazz).

I cut the cake's frosting and Jacque's chef hat out of the vellum to adhere to on top of the colored image. I used a sticker maker to add adhesive to the velum. I used a multiliner to add in some.  I found a couple brown brads in my stash to hold the vellum in place. As an added touch of detail fro texture, for the whip cream on top of the cake and hot chocolate, I liberally applied some acrylic paint, and used a glitter pen for the cherry.  I used a multiliner to add a little details.  I stamped the sentiment Stay Balanced (Sku#G4196) on top of the vellum.
